Can I get Paid Instantly with Uber?
Yes. You can become eligible for instant payout once you’ve done your first ride with Uber. In most cases, you’ll receive cash in your debit card account right away, but it could take a few business days depending on your bank. The following banks may take a few days to receive funds:
- UBOC
- H&R Block
- First Citizens
- Amegy
- California Bank and Trust
- First National Bank of OmahaWebster Bank
- BOKF
- Silicon Valley Bank
- Northern Trust
- Bank of New York Mellon.
Can I get Paid Instantly with Lyft?
Yes. As of July 2017, drivers only need $5.50 in earnings to cash out using Express Pay. Earnings can appear within a few hours or days, depending on your bank’s processing time (same as Uber).
The app shows your full earnings without Lyft’s Commission accounted for yet. The total amount available for Express Pay is your post-commission amount.
Heads up: earnings eligible for Express Pay deposits may decrease on Tuesdays because Tuesday is the day we begin issuing normal weekly transfers. Once the transfer is issued, your earnings are on their way to your bank and are no longer eligible for Express Pay.
Do I have to Purchase the Decal Stickers?
No. Immediately once you’ve met all the requirements for both Uber and Lyft and complete your application, Uber and Lyft will immediately send you the proper decal stickers for your vehicle to represent them. You will not receive an email in regards to tracking your welcome decals pack. Please wait between 7 – 10 business days after you’re an official rideshare driver.
Can I Drive For Both Rideshare Companies?
Yes. You can drive for both Uber and Lyft with no issue. When you’re logged into Uber make sure that you’re offline with Lyft and vice-versa when making your earnings.
What Are The Best Hours for High Earnings?
For Atlanta area the best hours for earnings during the day are:
- Mornings: 5AM – 9AM.
- Evenings: 7PM – 12:30AM.
Both Uber and Lyft will let you know the Hotspots for each day and events that are occurring around the areas.
Can I do Pick-ups at the Airport?
Yes and No. For both Lyft and Uber Atlanta Hartsfield airport has requested that all drivers vehicle to be a 2010 or newer vehicle. If your vehicle is 2009 or older, you can continue dropping off passengers at ATL as usual — just do not enter the airport staging lot & pickup queue so that you don’t give airport pickups and risk deactivation.
